As dobradiças não são fáceis de apertar junto ao móvel devido ao pouco espaço entre a tampa e a mesa e o o buraco disponível para colocar a chave na ranhura do parafuso. O facto de este não ser fácil de apertar faz com que a tampa oscile.Outro aspecto é não existir batentes entre a tampa e a parte de baixo da mesa para minimizar o impacto, visto que não existe amortecedor na dobradiça e esta fecha e abre demasiado rápido.
